Mardi graduated from the University of Queensland in 1999 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She has worked exclusively in private practice since that time, and assisted in Masters Research into Extension Related Back Pain associated with her background in Artistic Gymnastics. She is a former athlete and coach, having been involved with the sport for over 20 years. In 2002 she took a secondment from Physiotherapy to work for the Queensland Academy of Sport Gymnastics program as a coach and manager. She coached a number of National Team members and Australian Representatives.
In 2006 she resumed her physiotherapy career and joined QSMC in 2008. She has a special interest in Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics, Dance and Adolescent injuries, as well as low back and neck injuries.
QSMC has the most Sports Physiotherapists under one roof in Queensland with seven practising APA Sports Physiotherapists.
