QSMC Physiotherapy Fortitude Valley

Excellence in Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology in Fortitude Valley

QSMC is the top physiotherapist Fortitude Valley residents have available. Our multidisciplinary clinic offers many complementary services so that our clients are able to access everything they need from one provider. Our physiotherapists have all been trained in their field and some have extended their training into specific areas. We have many sports physiotherapists and exercise physiologists in our team who have previously worked with world-class athletes. Of course, they practice the same targeted methods with any of the clients who come into our clinic. For us, your health and well-being are the top priorities so we will work with you to create a treatment plan that is effective, efficient and also works to prevent reinjury.

What to Expect at QSMC

First, we’ll get you in for an initial consultation. At this stage, your physiotherapist will give you a physical examination in order to address any concerns and injuries that you might have. From there, they will build you a treatment plan to address those concerns. It is very important that you feel educated, informed, and a part of your treatment process as this will help you to understand how your body works and how to keep it healthy. Your physiotherapist might also recommend that you supplement your plan with other therapies, perhaps massage therapy or nutrition advice, to give you the option of receiving integrated health care. Beyond physiotherapy, we also offer services such as Sports Medicine, Podiatry, Pilates, Sports Psychology, and Acupuncture. These services are available as part of an overall plan or accessible on their own.

Focusing On Sports Injuries

Our physiotherapists are no stranger to sports injuries. All of our practitioners are highly regarded in their field and many have spent a significant amount of time working with sports-related injuries and have worked on an international level with professional athletes. In fact, many of them are athletes themselves, and so understand the painful process of rehabbing an injury and the toll it takes on the body and mind. Not all injuries can be treated with physiotherapy alone and so we also offer access to additional services including:

  • Exercise Physiology
  • Sports Medicine
  • Sports Psychology
  • Sports Nutrition
  • Podiatry
  • Remedial Massage Therapy

If your injury requires surgery, we currently partner with the top orthopaedic surgeons so that you have access to the best care possible.

“We want you to wake up in the morning knowing that you aren’t held back by physical limitations. We don’t just aim to get you less restricted; we want you to be restriction free! And we will do what it takes to help you achieve this.”
