Tim Oostenbroek is an APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. He is also currently a Registrar of the Australian College of Physiotherapy and is working towards his Specialization in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy. Tim has worked extensively in professional sport and private practice. He was the Head of Medical and Physiotherapy Services at Brisbane Roar from 2009 – 2015. During this period, the club was successful in winning two (2) A-League premierships and three (3) A-League Championships and broke the record for the longest period without losing in Australian domestic sport (36 matches). He has also worked with Queensland Cricket, the Queensland Reds, with several national teams within Football Federation Australia and is currently working with development programs with AFL Queensland.Tim is also a published co-author in Injury Prevention.
Tim has a strong interest in management of football injury and enjoys the challenge of helping athletes working to fulfil their athletic potential. He has a particular interest in hip and groin pathology, the shoulder and lower limb. He also enjoys working with athletes in post-surgical rehabilitation and in guiding their recovery in the initial stages through to late stage return to sport using progressive exercise interventions and evidence based return to sport guidelines.
