James Grimm
James graduated from the University of Sydney in 2015 before completing his Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland. During this time, he was awarded the title of APA Musculoskeletal and Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist.
James’ career highlights include his current role as a lead physiotherapist for Queensland Athletics as well as working as a venue manager for treatment at the Nitro World Games. James also presents at information seminars for Queensland Athletics and has recently taken up a role with Tennis Australia.
James was previously an Australian representative Track and Field sprinter and has worked with world-renowned coaches both domestically and internationally. This has given James a particular interest in sports and running injuries. Having been through surgeries and rehab throughout his athletic career, he knows what it is like to experience a setback.
James runs rehabilitation programs for both complex pain and sacroiliac joint cases alongside a local pain physician and has recently commenced work for the acute injury clinic at Brisbane Lower Limb Clinic in the assessment of acute lower limb injuries. James has a strong belief in keeping people as active as possible during their rehabilitation to reduce the risk of complications when returning to their activity.
