William Holland (often known as Billy!) is an Senior Accredited Exercise Physiologist at QSMC, bringing over a decade of clinical experience to the team. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology from QUT in 2012, Billy has cultivated a diverse career working alongside multidisciplinary teams of sports therapists and physiotherapists. This collaborative background allows him to provide comprehensive care, following a client’s health journey from initial injury through to high-level performance.
Billy has a clinical focus in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, with a particular clinical focus on complex cases involving the lower back, knees, hips, and shoulders. He is highly regarded for his expertise in pain management and supporting clients navigating kinesiophobia (fear of movement). His clinical caseload frequently includes pre- and post-surgical interventions and workplace injury rehabilitation, as well as providing strength and conditioning for a unique range of athletes, from soccer players to circus performers.
Dedicated to the evolution of the profession, Billy has a strong background in mentoring, having previously supervised exercise physiology practicum students. He is currently further elevating his clinical depth by studying a Master of Pain Management. Billy’s approach is deeply rooted in patient education, ensuring that every individual understands their condition to achieve the best possible long-term outcomes.

When he isn’t at the clinic or studying for his Masters, you’ll likely find him spending quality time with his family or cheering on his old football team. A fan of stand-up comedy and a good Italian meal, Billy’s ultimate bucket list item is a grand tour of the iconic football stadiums throughout Europe. He is a self-confessed coffee lover (strictly a cappuccino) and enjoys a fine single malt scotch to unwind. From his very first job at Liquorland to his current clinical practice, Billy remains a relatable and dedicated professional who loves helping his clients get back to doing what they love.
