Rob Godbolt is a highly experienced Senior Physiotherapist with an extensive background in elite high-performance sport. Widely recognised for his significant contributions to elite rugby league, Rob previously served as the Physiotherapist for the Queensland State of Origin team and the NRL Allstars. His professional journey is further distinguished by a 16-year tenure with the Brisbane Broncos, where he held the role of Principal Physiotherapist for nine seasons.
In the clinic, Rob focuses on comprehensive musculoskeletal rehabilitation and post-surgical recovery. He has a particular clinical interest in managing complex injuries of the hip, groin, knee, and spine, as well as lower limb conditions. His approach is heavily informed by his work with elite athletes in high-pressure environments, ensuring that both recreational and professional patients receive care informed by elite-level standards.
Rob graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991 and has since built a career defined by diverse international and domestic experience. Beyond the rugby league field, his professional journey includes touring as the Physiotherapist for the Zimbabwe Cricket team and supporting the Reds Rugby College. His deep understanding of surgical rehabilitation is further bolstered by years of direct collaboration with leading Brisbane knee surgeons, allowing him to bridge the gap between operative procedures and a successful return to sport.
