PHYSIOTHERAPIST
ABBEY LE BUSQUE
Abbey graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2019. Since graduation Abbey has been working in Queensland Health, private practice and with professional sporting teams.
Whilst working in QLD Health and throughout her studies, Abbey has worked with the Brisbane Lions in both the Men’s and Women’s programs as a head sports trainer and is a Junior Physiotherapist with the AFLW as well as managing the U18 Lion’s Girls Academy. Abbey has completed her APA Sports Level 1 course and has a keen interest in sports and exercise physiotherapy.
Growing up Abbey played many sports including netball, touch football and AFL. Having experienced multiple injuries herself, Abbey has had a great interest in sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation from a young age. Abbey enjoys treating a variety of conditions and has a keen interest in Women’s Health, general musculoskeletal injuries and Sports Rehabilitation and is looking forward to furthering her skills in these areas.
When Abbey isn’t at the clinic, she is likely working with an AFL team, playing sports or travelling overseas to the snow.
