SPORTS AND EXERCISE PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Geoff De Jager
Geoff graduated from the University of Queensland as a Physiotherapist in 1997. He has completed a double Masters in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2010 and was awarded the title of APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist.
Geoff has worked extensively in private practice in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, as well as overseas in the UK. His UK experience includes working with the Royal Air Force, where he was Head Physiotherapist at Cottesmore Air Force Base for their elite Harrier Jump-jet pilots. On the Sunshine Coast, Geoff worked with surf sports and an elite tennis academy, as well as being a Team Physiotherapist for the Sunshine Coast Stingrays Premier Rugby team. He has subsequently had varied experience with sporting teams including Brisbane Lions Reserve Grade, Samoan Rugby League, AIS Squash, Yeronga AFC and Mitchelton FC.
Geoff has a passion for all sports and is especially interested in helping people reach their potential through injury prevention and exercise rehab. With a firm belief in evidence-based management, he has a particular focus on training and restoring correct movement patterns.
