SPORTS AND EXERCISE PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Penny Dayan
Penny graduated from Latrobe University in 2004 and completed her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2011. Since then, she has worked with various athletes and in private practice, providing musculoskeletal management for athletes, varying in age, recreational to elite.
Penny has gained extensive experience treating dancers, circus performers, gymnasts, and worked with artists from various musical theatre productions. She worked at the National Institute of Circus Arts in Melbourne for over a decade as well as with Circus Oz. Penny has also worked in the central headquarters clinic at the London Paralympics 2012 and continues her involvement with para-sports and the Wheelchair tennis program. Penny also works as a physiotherapist at Tennis Australia with their National Academy athletes, at the Australian Open and Pro Tour tournaments.
Penny has a holistic approach to treatment and enjoys treating a large variety of musculoskeletal conditions. She has a particular interest in managing shoulder, elbow and wrist injuries, hip pathology, and managing complex and long-standing presentations.
