Affiliation with Brisbane Lions
QSMC values our extensive and long-standing affiliation with the Brisbane Lions’ AFL team, delivering expert medical care, efficient injury management, and innovative performance enhancement strategies to some of Australia’s most accomplished AFL players. Our physiotherapists Jess and Abbey were a part of the Brisbane Lions Women’s team when they won the 2023 Premiership Title, and continue to support the Lions from their top players to developing youth athletes.
Abbey Le Busque
Physiotherapist
Physiotherapist Abbey has worked with the Brisbane Lions in both the Men’s and Women’s programs as a head sports trainer. Currently, she is a Junior Physiotherapist with the AFLW as well as managing the U18 Lion’s Girls Academy.
Jess Clarey
Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist
Jess can be found alongside the Brisbane Lions’ AFL and AFLW teams, currently working with the Lions Academy Women’s team as well as being a Sports Trainer for the Lions Men’s team.
Lucy Kemp
Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Exercise Physiologist Lucy currently works with the Lions AFL team as the head sports trainer for the Men’s AFL team & sport’s trainer for AFLW.
